We are a husband and wife pair who love animals and are doing our best to reduce their suffering.
What we do
We partner with local animal shelters to rescue stray, abandoned, and injured animals. We specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation of those animals most at-risk of being euthanized, providing safe housing until we find their forever homes. All of our rescue animals come through the public shelter system. We do not accept animals from private individuals.
This organization relies on the kind donations of our community. Please check out our donations page to see how you can help.

Our 2nd batch of kitties have had a hard time. All of the 8 kittens came down with the kitten pan-leuk virus and unfortunately 6 of them did not survive. It was a very difficult few weeks as they all got sick, and declined rapidly. We have 2 sweet cats left. These two fought the virus and survived. I get to foster these two for one more week before they go up for adoption. ... See MoreSee Less
We foster cats now! These 8 kitties are 5-6 weeks old and are all eating off a plate. They are about 1lb each. No mom. They came into animal care from Santa Ana. No other info on them besides they are currently healthy. We’re learning so much! Thank you to Julie Nelson for the private tutoring lesson on how to care for kitties. So far so good. ... No new mommy/pups yet. Due to parvo, we had to do a major deep clean and now have to cover all the porous surfaces in the kennel (which is everything, everywhere, and all at once). Painting is going well and we’re hoping to finish the upgrades this week. After we paint, we’ll put/tape/hang plastic sheeting to cover the whole ground and up the wall for extra protection for our next mom/pups. ... See MoreSee Less
Update April 2023: All 3 pups survived parvo and were adopted 💕❤️💕❤️Saturday AM Update:Coco is being fed by syringe as she won’t eat on her own. This ensures she gets her meds and enough nutrients. Cinnamon and Buddy are stable. We have an unfortunate update: All of our puppies have tested positive for parvo. Coco is the most affected. They were all hospitalized last night at a vet that is staffed 24/7. Being in the hospital will give them the best chance at survival. Here’s some pics of the pups playing on Sunday when they were healthy, hungry, and playful. Their health quickly changed when I noticed a loss of appetite on Wednesday morning. My neighbor Darci was able to take them to the OC Animal Care vet right away (as I had to go to work). OC Animal Care was able to find them a hospital bed within a few hours and I transported them to the hospital vet on Wednesday evening. They already had 2 vaccines before testing positive which will hopefully help them beat this. We’ll keep you updated. ... See MoreSee Less
